Basketball sneakers are generally easy to work with when building a pair of orthotics. They usually can accomodate full length devices with whatever accomodations that are required for the patient

Basketball involves a fair amount of side to side motion, so devices with deep heel seats and extrinsic rearfoot posts can be utilized to obtain maximum control of the foot.

The playground surfaces that most recreational players play on are hard and unforgiving, so we can take advantage of the room inside the sneaker to add in cushioned top covers. Shell materials and thickness can be chosen based upon the size of the player and their competitive level

At Fiber we have a variety of shell materials, top covers, and posting materials to allow us to build the basketball orthotic that is best suited to your patient.
