Limb Length Discrepency:
When dealing with a short limb it is important to evaluate the shoe type of your patient. Determine how much of a lift can be accomodated by the shoes. Should the patient require that amount of lift or less, then let us know how much lift the patient requirs and if you want the lift in just the rearfoot or the full length of the orthotic. Should the patient require more lift than can be accomodated by the shoes, let us know how much of a lift to put on the orthotic, and have an external lift put on the shoe.
