Pelite is an expanded cross linked closed-cell, white sponge foam material.
It is lightweight, soft to the touch, moisture proof, and provides comfortable cushioning.
Heat moldable at 220°F - 250°F for 1 to 3 minutes, depending upon thickness.

These properties give Pelite the ability to 'recover' to full thickness after each gait cycle allowing it to maintain it's cushioning ability for the life of the orthotic. Being moisture proof gives pelite durability in the harsh environment of your patients shoes.
